Does not work - unless I am doing something wrong

I have not been able to peel the paint off. It is very difficult. If anyone has tips that would make this work I would appreciate it. Very disappointed. I was trying not to use plastic liners any longer.

Relatively sturdy paint tray

This paint tray was sturdy for my needs but not super thick metal if you are working with heavier paints I would get a stronger one. I was working with stain and it worked great. I also used this paint tray with the plastic liners to keep it clean for multiple uses and just used it as the base.
