SABA 23-cu ft Frost-free Upright Freezer ( Stainless steel )

3 weeks over 1 yr warranty - Quit. Peice of JUNK.

Bought at Lowe's. Ran fine for a year. 3 weeks after the warranty ended, stopped cooling. Lowe's would not help. Called SABA. Service Manager wanted to school us on how to Google for a technician, and what a warranty means. We know it's 3 weeks over...but we also expected a little more for $3,500. We called every repair shop within a 4-state radius--nobody will work on this brand. Do not buy this junk. Seriously. You'll end up with a $3,500 shiny piece of junk.

Died within 6 months & no service from Lowes.

The appliance died within the first 6 months and I did buy the 5 year Lowe's warranty but Lowe's could not find anyone to service it so they refunded my money. Unfortunately the same unit has went up a lot in price so you couldn't buy the same one even if you wanted to. Given its a commercial grade appliance and the cost of it how quickly it broke is very disappointing. Overall this was a very bad experience.

Repair Issues

We received our unit 9 months ago. Worked well until it stopped. Appearantly no one has heard of Saba. Their tech walked me through troubleshooting over the phone. Looks like the compressor has gone out. I can't find anyone to service this unit and I'm getting no help from Lowe's...

Freezer in our Pool House

This freezer works great in our pool house! We typically need to carry over goods such as ice cream, ice, and other goodies. Now we can conveniently keep it in place. The freezer is fancy/great looking, and we are happy we purchased this one over the more expensive alternatives.
