Well built and was just what I needed.

Bought this shovel specifically to shovel mulch that was delivered on the grass. I was unable to use a conventional wide flat shovel. This worked great because it dug into the mulch and carried quite a bit more than a conventional spade.

This thing lived up to its name and pulled the deep roots right out.

Great all around shovel. Especially great for planting. A little leary about the plastic handle, but otherwise a well built tool.

Great gardening shovel!

I found this shovel quite easy to use. It was a good length for me (I'm 5'5") and not too heavy; my husband (who is 6'0") felt it wasn't too short and still had good weight as well. The spade did well in getting through roots, and the guards ("wings") on both sides of the shovel were so helpful in keeping my load on the shovel and not all over the ground! Overall, very impressed with this shovel!
