Love using the Ring motion detector in the house, to keep track of my pets. Since it has a talk feature, I've been able to calm the dog if something startled him. And I have it set to Let me know if the dog is going toward the door because someone's there.. I also have one at the driveway gate to alert me to any delivery trucks. The solar charger is great so I don't have to worry about batteries.

Everyone should have a security camera and ring makes it super easy. Not only for sound of mind but sometimes you capture cute animals or funny moments. Lets me know everytime there’s movement and get to use my phone to see what’s going on.

Does a good job of detecting motion and giving me a notification. I use on doors/low travel areas to pick up on if my kids are where they shouldn’t be.

Does the job

Comes in simple cardboard packaging that can easily be recycled or flattened for storage. Motion detectors can be mounted in a corner, flat on a wall, or sit flat on a shelf. Mounting bracket includes 3M double-sided tape and holes to allow mounting with screws. I used the tape option on a corner. The tape held for around a year but did eventually come off. No complaints about battery life. You get a warning through the Ring app when batteries running low.
