Side rail keeps coming apart

Love the Rev a Shelf products. This is the first time with a problem. I would reach out to seller but have not found a way to do so. After installing and using for a few days, the side bars which hold the basket keep pulling apart. I’m looking for a way to remedy the problem rather than returning the product since it is already installed.

great quality

I bought this to replace one that I bought at Lowes 20 years ago. The bearings on the old one wore out after 20 years, not too bad. This new one is much sturdier and rolls out more smoothly than the old one, and the garbage can is also more sturdy than the previous one. This under-sink roll-out trash can should last me another 20 years.

Side bars pull apart

We chose this design because we could install it in a cabinet with a hinged door. We installed this unit on Wednesday and by Saturday, the size bars were pulling apart on both sides. We are a household with 2 adults and no children so there is no rough handling. Rev-a-shelf must know that this is a problem. I read the responses from Rev a Shelf and we are confident that we don't have " the bars up too high, if the bars are not up high enough, there is a lot of flex in the system so pulling...

Easy to install. However, the side bar keeps coming apart. I need to continuously put back together.

Must buy

Bought this pull out trash bin for my basement base cabinet and it was so easy to install/use. The quality is great and it will definitely help now keeping the bin in the cabinet vs out in the open.

Comes apart easily

The side that holds it together keeps coming apart. It’s a metal piece that goes into a plastic piece. The day I put this together it came apart when I was sliding the trashcan out.

Slow close, easy peasy install, we love it.

Nice look…difficult pull out

Replaced an older version that rusted/corroded over time. This looks good for now. Hoping it will hold up better than its predecessor. Why 3 Stars? Because, the soft close mechanism makes it very hard to pull out to the point of being very annoying. Previously, I would never use the handle that is supplied with the unit to pull the garbage can out and would just pull from the top of the garbage can. When trying to do this, it is incredibly difficult due to the resistance caused by the soft close...

Ok but not for price

The cost of everything seems to be higher and higher but the quality ironically never gets better. Seems like basic economics doesn't work any more...but anyway, back to the actual product. The concept is good, but the actual functionality is not. Pulling open the trash can is very difficult. Not saying it's hard to figure out how to open or that it weighs a ton, but more so that it "sticks" every time we try to open it. It's brand new too. It's more of a pain just to open the trash can whether ...

I have had one of these for about 8 years loved it. Just installed a new one, same model it is a piece of junk!!!! The brackets that hold the can in places are sooooo loose that the can slide back and fourth about 2 inches. Yes I have the brackets installed correct. So everytime you open cabinet door to get to can it falls and slides very loose and it is the can that came with set. I called Rev a Shelf explained my issues.
