The RetroFit Mailbox Latch and Handle Kit comes with (1) Latch and (1) Handle and the screws and bolts for each. Both pieces are made out of rust resistant aluminum. They are suitable for the majority of small and large metal mailboxes. They have not been tested on plastic mailboxes. Both products are made out of aluminum, but can be bent up or down to adjust the tension on the mailbox door to ensure a tight fit together.
