Good product that could be better
So far appears to be working. Product would be better if it incorporated a small digital screen showing rate of charge, etc. Have not used long enough to rate its weather resilience on the solar cells. Ask me again in a year!

The WORST thing for a battery is leave it dormant
I purchased the Renology solar charger/ maintainer over a cheaper brand because I have purchased their mono crystal panels 10 yrs ago and they are still operating. As for the Charger/ maintainer I put it a battery for 1 week and then switch it to another, it keeps batteries at about 12.38 volts which is fine One complaint people had was it wasnt water proof as you see in the picture i just put it in a large freezer bag. It may reduce the efficiency a bit but it still works Renology is the way to...

I didn’t pay anything for it so it’s well worth having. I have it hooked up to my riding lawnmower. Keeps the battery full charged even all winter. Easy to connect and disconnect. It’s saved me one battery so far
