seals really well

This contains snthetic fibers and mineral fillers fior better sealing properties. I was installing one inch threaded brass fittings and using tape, first pink, then gray, with no luck getting a good seal. I did some research and bought this. It sealed up perfectly well, no drips! It is very thick and easy to apply. I didnt know how much to use, so i just applied a small amount and carefully spread it, making sure it filled all the threads. After completion I wiped away the excess and all is neat...

It’s a bit messy.

It seemed to work well. Easier to use than Teflon tape. Not leaks so far!

Worked great!

Had small leak at threads of my polypropylene pipes no matter how many times I adjusted the rubber gaskets. Put some of this on all my pipe threading and within 5 minutes of application all the leaks were gone.
