Great for turning dirt in raised beds.

So far so good. It is light and East to use. It said that it was 3.47 pounds. I’m not sure about that as it feels a little heavier - maybe the metal part was 3.47 pounds. But, it was still light enough for me to use out in my garden. It did a great job breaking up the turn for me to turn it in my raised beds.

Razor-Back compost fork is a great investment.

The Razor-Back compost fork is useful for turning compost and spreading bedding and straw in our chicken coop. The tines are strong and flared out so you can pick up more compost with each movement. Where it is great picking up the wet and larger pieces of compost, compost that is drying out on the edges or smaller falls through. Not a deal breaker, we just raked those pieces back into the pile. Tall and durable

I break this kind of stuff regularly. Shovels, rakes etc. It’s always the handle that disconnects from the head. If they screw together or if they slide/ clamp together eventually they break. I have high hopes for this one. It’s not really clamped together. Looks to me that part of the metal from the head goes up into the wood which should add to its durability. Great pitch fork

As far as pitch forks go, this is a nice one. Sturdy, and strong, good balance with nice long handle. I give it a 5 star rating for sure. I live in the foothills where there are pines, and oaks, and this fork is a great help in the clean up process in my yard.

Well made, holding up well.

This fork appears to be well made, does what it was intended to do. The handle is solid wood and the head is solid forged. The connection between the handle and head seems very secure, it has been holding up well. Overall very happy with this fork, I expect to get many years of shoveling crap with it 😁.

Well made - Strong Fork

This seems like a very well made and super strong fork. The metal fingers are very thick and seem like they could handle quite a bit of weight on them. The rubber coating on one part of the shaft seems like it would help save some wear and tear on hands over time.

Perfect for Using in My Chicken Coop!

I like the fact that the tongs on this pitch fork are closer together than most. I was having trouble picking up the used straw in my chicken coop with the one I have had for years. The straw would fall through the tines more often than not. So - with this new one, I don't have that problem. One thing that I did notice about the handle though is that it is rough. The finish is minimal and even the brand name stamped on the handle is not as legible as I think it should be as top quality products ...
