Wood Handle Steel Manure Fork
The handle length provides very nice leverage when digging into piles. The prongs were effective in digging up potatoes in the dirt. They were also nicely spaced to turn compost. The handle grain did lift after being left in the rain for a few days.
Great fork around the barn
Heavy and well-made fork. Great in the barn and works well with hay for the horses and cattle. It's a little heavy due to the handle as it appears to be a solid hardwood. Steel tines are very sturdy and very little risk of bending under normal use. I don't recommend prying heavy objects with the fork.
High quality, well-made tool
Anyone who handles landscaping or gardening materials or deals with yard debris will like this tool. I have used it to move large piles of pine straw and bulk mulch. The tines are long enough to lift a large quantity of material but the fork is slender enough to be easily managed and maneuvered. It is a well-made, high quality tool that feels strong and sturdy. The handle is long enough to give easy reach when moving material from a trailer to the ground, for example, or loading into a wheel...
5 tine wood handle
I got this, not to use on manure, but to utilize in turning my compost pile for my garden. The product is very sturdy and made of nice quality materials. It is well balanced and very easy to use for my needs of turning the compost pile. I had been looking for one with a fiberglass handle but went with this product which has a wood handle. The only negative is the handle finish is a bit rough in spots so I recommend wearing gloves.
48 inch steel manure rake
This rake is not only usable for manure but also mulch, removing bulbs in the ground without damaging them. Being 48 inches long this gives you great leverage that you would ever need.
Decent Pitchfork
This pitch fork is decently made. It will need to be sanded and refinished as the handle feels really rough on the hands or you will need gloves. The fork portion is well made and of quality metal. It does feel like it will last a while but definitely recommend doing something to prevent blisters or splinter on your hand from the handle.
Quick mulch mover
This fork is so handy for moving and freshening mulch. The handle is nice and long for good leverage. I don not like the texture of the handle but it is okay when wearing gloves.
well made

Verified Purchaser
It is a bit heavy, but should last a long time.
Arrived on time, in good condition. Appears to be very sturdy. I think I will like the longer handle. Will be awhile before I can use it as there are several inches of snow on the ground.
