Nice heavy steel spade

All steel shovel
This shovel is well built and great for edging beds. The full steel construction makes it a bit heavier than your standard wood or fiberglass handled shovel. However, the extra weight seems to help with cutting through soil with less effort. I was able to use a single foot for almost all my shoveling while with my old shovel I often had to use both feet (the jump method). The foot points are also extra wide and padded with rubber, making them easier to use. Overall, I'm very happy with this s...
Good luck finding something sturdier.
This shovel will last a lifetime as a homeowner and probably even as a contractor. Extremely sturdy and well made. The only way to break it is if you’re Paul Bunyan . The foot stomps have a rubber cover that soften the stepping motion. The length is perfect as a 5’9” person. I picked it up for working in my no till vegetable garden and it’s the perfect size for digging holes for seedlings. If I had any gripe it’s that the paint on the shovel head was clearly done over a bunch of debris so it’s l...
Best Spade I’ve Ever Owned
I’ve been wanting to clear an area that gets muddy and replace the grass with 12x12 concrete blocks, making a landing area at the bottom of the steps. I chose to use this spade over a regular shovel because of the flat, almost straight edge. It cut through the grass with little effort and allowed me to skim off layers of sod that I ended up using to cover a few bare spots. In no time, I had a well defined area ready for the blocks. I really like that this is steel and not wood, so I’ll never ...
WOW! this shovel is very well built !
I have never seen anything this heavy built. That is a good thing but bad also, makes it really heavy to use. wow this has a metal handle and a heavy metal body no wood on this unit. Big foot steps also , very pleasantly surprised
Heavy duty tool
Has some great quality to it very strong and heavy duty for the job. Wish it had a rubber grip on the handle instead of just the slipper metal handle. Other then that I have not complaints on this item.
Secure footing and a strong steel blade
Fantastic and sturdy steel garden spade. Perfect for landscaping tasks and gardening. The steel D grip is easy to grasp for control and maneuvering. The dual rubber steps allow me to get proper footing and control while digging. Strong steel build and I’m hoping this lasts for years.
Very sturdy garden spade.
This is a great heavy duty steel garden spade. It’s top quality both in material and design. The handle is comfortable to use and the foot pads don’t allow slippage and are a good size for my shoe size. The length of the blade allows for a deep, clean cut. I’ve already used it for removing clumps of almost dead flower bulbs and vining plants. Worked great in a short amount of time. Also good for edging. So glad I have it.
