I would have liked to be able to purchase a 2-pack. I have no idea if I will ever need the other two. That said, I hope that the two I used to power our gas fireplace ignitor during rare winter outages will last several years.

I put these D batteries in my daughters toy and the batteries powered the toy with no issues. They’re suppose to be long lasting but I’m not quite sure how long the power will last as I’ve not had enough time to test that.
