Just use a soaker hose

This was the second kit like this I've tried, the first being a different brand. The instructions mostly consist of pictures with arrows—this may not be good who are using a kit like this for the first time. The hose is high quality, but I imagine the thin plastic pieces on the rest of the system won't hold up very long if you live in a very hot climate, like I do. Right off the bat, it was leaking. Not from pieces I put together, but pieces that came together straight from the box.

Works amazingly!

I highly recommend this one. I wasn't sure at first. But everything works perfectly. I'm using this on my new shrubs that I planted in fall which dried out a bit in winter. Hoping it nurses them back to health! The trickle on the larger size drip works great for shrubs. I think I'm going to buy two more of these for my vegetable garden we plan to build this year. Comes with two different size drippers for different size plants. Plenty of tubing. The caps are pretty hard to get off the main unit....

Reputable brand, durable and well built

I haven't had the chance to install this drip system yet. I hope to get it installed in a small garden bed and maybe try growing some herbs once it starts warming up. Rain Bird, I know, is a reputable brand. The components seem durable and well-built. So far, just by observation, it seems to be a decent product. I will try to do an update when it's up and running.

Worked great

Perfect set up for my space. Easy to hookup. Wish it came with a connect for the sprinklers. Had to buy one but everything is great. Different options for many different kinds of plants.

Watering Made Easy

What a great little starter kit for cutting down on the need to water an expansive flower or vegetable garden. There are certainly some pros and cons to this kit but it will certainly do the trick for the average DIY person. The ground stake is thin and feels cheep. If you live in a region where you're exposed to freezing temperatures and forget to take this out I feel that the stake will crack resulting in a leak and loss of function of the system. I installed this irrigation system ahead of gardening season. I like the option of being able to install the components now I see fit and customize it in the way that works best for my plants and flowers. All of the materials are high quality and the 1/4” tubing is very durable and should hold up for quite some time.

Great beginner product!

Great product that works for container gardening! I used this product, but added a lot more to it to increase the number of sprinkler heads and tubing. This is a great starter pack that gets the job done for about 5 containers. You will need the larger irrigation tubing with it to get the water supply to the containers, then take the 1/8 tubing to run to each container. Overall a very good product that I would highly reccommend if you have the time to maticulously water your garden.

Directions Straight Forward, Easy to Install

This drip irrigation spot watering kit is easy to put together and provides many options for watering plants. The manifold looks solidly constructed though the bubblers are black plastic so care is needed to not step on. The kit includes 50 feet of 1/4 inch plastic tubing that will be sufficient for the 4 bubblers and 8 emitters. The directions are easy to follow to follow. In a garden this irrigation kit can be used year after year.
