allen + roth Touch-up Repair Kit

Don't Waste Your Money!

I bought this along with a few other products getting ready for a big home project. This touch-up repair kit was recommended to fill in the nail holes along our new PVC baseboards... I think a white crayon would have done a better job. It says to fill in the hole and to wipe off the excess. It wiped off the everything! Worse stuff I've ever used! It's white, but wouldn't stay. Do Not Waste your money! (You cannot see in the picture, what was wiped away.

Pretty good colored filler.

It worked pretty well, but not great. I imagine this product would be ideal for a tiny dent or hole, but it didn’t work great for what I needed. I think joint compound would work better for most similar applications.

Pretty decent for quick fixes, but not perfect

The touch-up stick is good for filling minor nail holes or scratches in trim. Definitely not as effective as caulk/wood filler and then painting, but a pretty good quick solution.

As described!

Product works! Description is perfect. Works perfectly! Very happy.

its harder than a crayon, prepare to press

Love It works perfectly to cover Holes in wood left by nails(doors, Borders). It will be easier to use if it was a little bit softer, you have to press hard and that then requires a bit sanding. its a bit harder than a crayon in comparison.

Must be warm

It worked pretty well. Once the stick got warm from rubbing the baseboard it went in a lot better.
