Zip it!
The ties worked just fine and did not break even with strong tension. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars (it’s kind of petty) but if they could fold them in the correct direction when during packaging, it would make it a little easier to get around the duct work without having to try and flip it.

zip ties are one of many things necessary for a good tight seal, unfortunately these don't fit 8" duct without putting two together.
