Poor manufacturing quality
I bought this to simplify the installation of a new water heater. I needed a better way to turn the water off than to old style valve. The problem with this was 2-fold: First, the compression sleeve wouldn't seal completely on the pressure side of the valve causing small leak. The other problem was due to poor manufacturing quality I couldn't get more than a single completed turn of thread engagement on the fill side.
