This product was purchased for the installation of a hot water heater. Disappointed with communication about the damaged heater delivered.

I installed 2 of these when starting my renovation as the previous valves were leaking. after getting the copper manifold for the shower and tub all soldered up and installed, i noticed a pinhead leak, probably a gallon a year, after looking at the other valve that was not leaking, there is evidence it was leaking in the same spot but the brass corroded itself sealed. If it was one failure i would have wrote it off, both poorly cast, both new with different batch numbers, Im lucky i didn't put t...

Why do you sell valves like this one that leaks from the valve stem?

should this valve be solder in the open or closed position and should a damp rag be used to protect the internals during the solder procedure.
