Basic window with mortar install

Sturdy construction. I made a cardboard template so I didn’t have to keEp lifting it for a test fit. I used S type mortar to install. The link to a typical install was provided. Basically make a hole bigger than the window, put mortar and shims on the bottom, put window in place,level/pumb with more shims them fill the sides and top with mortar.

Excellent buy

I ordered 7 of these glass block windows and they showed up to Lowe's faster than what the estimated ship time was. They were all on 1 pallet with cardboard in between each window. They were baned to the pallet and then had plastic wrapped around the entire thing. The windows were in excellent condition when I brought them home. Plus they were the perfect size for the windows that I was replacing them for.

As described

I purchased this window to replace my old basement window. I bought one with a small screened window enclosed in glass blocks. The small window opens easily and it surprised me positively. It can be almost completely opened and provides more ventilation than expected. One important detail wasn’t listed in the item description. I expected to be a heavy window, it is made of glass blocks after all but it was even heavier. I could move it and install it alone but it can be a problem.

Excellent Replacement Window

I replaced a rotted out window in my basement with this product. I'd never installed a window before, nevermind a masonry one. Me and a friend installed in within 3 hours (including all "learning curves.") Great product

The glass block window is very solid in construction and allows plenty of light to filter thru and add ambience to the room. The workmanship is superb with a firm screen and fold in vent to let plenty of air filter thru. The glass adds a great effect to diffuse light and also provides plenty of security not only with the thick glass but with privacy. Fell apart!

It looks nice. Poorly put together. When I pulled it out of the box, the joint between the vent and the bottom of the window fell apart. I had to silicon the window back together in order to install it.

Block glass / good product

I cant seem to find the size I just bought, a 19x32? for $130. Mine doesn''t have a vent. In store all they seemed to have to order from was a $200 + window, This brand is good, You couldnt possibly build this correctly for the price. I do renovations & this is a perfect fit for an old ,1925 bath where I needed to install a shower. I,d say a A+ in all aspects. Mine is ALL glass , no vent.

Nice quality craftsmanship

I was pleased with the quality of craftsmanship with this product, was a little pricey, but the quality of construction did justify that in the end. We used this in a bath with a window directly in the shower, ( hey, not my design,) and it worked out great. At night the outside light diffused through the glass block is really an enhancement to the room.
