Fine Line Improved is a unique update that has green, lush, and full foliage from tip to toe. It has bright yellow foliage in the fall. Dense branching provides good coverage for a space-saving hedge and gives it even more presence as a specimen. Like the original, it sets far fewer fruits than weedy buckthorns, and among the fruits that do develop, only a very low percentage are capable of germination. It is drought tolerant once established and is deer resistant.
