I purchased the Whirlpool WHKF-DWHV water filtration system and before installing, tried to turn the handle to the "Off" or the "Bypass" settings. The handle did not turn. I went back to Lowes and tried turning the handle on 5 of their same products in the store. None of their handles turned. I tried calling Whirlpoo's phone number on the box and was sent to a never ending automated phone loop. I am very unhappy with Whirlpool and am returning the filter to the store.

Arrived with broken handle on bypass valve

I suspect this was a returned item, the box was taped closed, while neither of the other two I ordered were, the box was dirty, and not in a shipping box.

Works Great!

Bought this to replace an older one I couldn't get the cartridge off anymore without worrying about breaking the pipes. Went together pretty easy. One thing to check before using, take the cartridge off and check the o-ring. Mine wasn't installed right, and If I didn't check it before installation,I would've leaked. Other than that, works great
