Easy to install, Better then Samsung Refrigerator Filtering. After the Fridge filter assembly broke, this a cheaper more robust solution.

Inexpensive and works well

I was seeing calcium or lime buildup on my faucets. It even got to the point wqhere my hot water heater blowby valve was leaking badly. I drained the tank and poured in a couple of gallons of white vinegar to remove the scaling and it went back to working normally but I realized I had a lot of calcium and/or lime in my water supply. I bought this and noticed a significant reduction in scale buildup.

Not recommended

Lowes & all their people are great, however this filter is awful. You can tighten the housing as much as humanly possible at it still drips. (& No matter what you put on the threads)

They dont leak and they work fine

Installed a pair with coarse and fine filtration - rusty water is now clear. These are the primary filters now but will become the backup filters behind the Auto filter to catch any breakthrough.
