Don't know what all the dislike is about.
I bought this track and 6 LED lights to install over a guitar display wall. The track only has 3 mounting holes, which is easily remedied by drilling two additional holes at a proper spacing. Yes it's flimsy beforehand, but it's support comes from a proper mount and ceiling - not from the track itself. There would be no reason for that once it's mounted to studs or anchors. This is what keeps that sleek appearance, especially for lower ceilings where it's needed. For $22 you can afford to drill ...
Low quality
Low cost, low quality product. There was glue on one of the conductor in one end of a track that prevented it from making contact. One I scraped that off, and it started working. Every light needs to be installed, removed and reinstalled about 5 times before it will finally make contact. All of the T-connectors were assembled incorrectly. Had to switch connectors on those to make the H shape required by my design. See the review that someone else posted for that part. The floating power supply o...
Flimsy and poor performance
I've installed a ton of track lighting and these were the worst components I've come across. The tracks are flimsy and the power bus/power bus holder are inconsistent in terms of sliding out of the track or not being able to move at all. All connections are finicky except the coupler and the floating live. Cutting to length ended up being way more involved than it should have been and multiple components simply didn't work, which meant wasted time backtracking and testing. The tracks also do no...
Adequate tracks for lighting
These tracks are adequate for do it yourself types. The instructions are good. They are somewhat flimsy. Light fixtures installed in the tracks occasionally quit working and have to be jacked around to get the contacts to re-connect with the conductors in the tracks. Installation of 6 sections in two circuits in our living room took about 4 hours when I first bought these in 2014. It would have gone more quickly if I had a helper to hold the pieces in place while securing them. I recently ordere...

Didn't work
I took a lot of time to diagnose why my track light installation did not work, and it turned out to be defective track. There was no continuity between the live feed hot screw and the metal strip in the track. The metal strip was too short to reach the live feed contact. I tried to exchange it, but they had no more in stock, so I got the equivalent part from Home Depot. That one worked fine. I have installed 3 of these inexpensive track systems, and I suggest buying extra components and return...
Easy to install, but not an excellent product
Ended up this was the failed component during our install. We spent half a day installing this because we couldn't get the lights to illuminate. We thought this wasn't the bad piece, but ended up we were wrong. We bought a second track, and problem solved. However, I didn't notice the second track was slightly damaged, but didn't want to remove it again to install a third track. It not easily seen so we kept it. 1. Hook all pieces up before you mount to ceiling. 2. Inspect the rail for damage. ...

Worked fine for me
Didn't want to spend a fortune updating my old Lightolier track and light fixtures to LED, so I bought this track, end feed and cheapy gimbles. It's solid and looks good. Only trouble I had was cutting an 8 foot track down to 6 feet. The conductors don't really slide out as the instructions say, so be wary if you need to shorten the track (not so easy). Note: the cord attached at the end of the track is for a pendent light hanging over a chair. Bought the adapter from Jeff Bezos' company.

Poorly made or non standard
Had trouble making it work with existing track lights I own. I use these for art shows. I had to spend an enormous amount of time to make this work. The tracks seem to be non standard or simply poorly made. Track lighting that works fine in 4 other track bars (made by another manufacturer) initially would not seat properly in this. Eventually I was able to make it work - with lots of gaffers tape and work. Not the usual Lowe's quality. Warning, review added that it is high quality and durab...
Great comparability w/ "H" type fixtures
although not labeled as so, i was able to use them with "h" type lighting heads. Lowes doesn't carry this brand anymore. Wish i knew beforehand so i could've picked up the ones on clearance. . great track

Do NOT buy this
Bought this system and followed all instructions. ONly worked for a few minutes before it stopped working--no light bulb will owrk. Replaced the track and other items piece by piece and every single one had some defect, from the pendants / heads having wires misconnected from the box and on and on--the tracks don't line up (except in rare circumstances) enough to power the bulbs, the instructions are absolutely terrible.
