works well, good instructions, motor is quiet, but the jaws inside the basket make a loud snapping noise upon start up. it's very large and takes up most of the area under the sink. like the basket is stainless steel and the warranty.

While searching for a new disposal this unit is the one I settled on. Some said it was noisy, I found that not to be true. Wen I first tuned it on it made an noise but it probably just he machine first start. After that it was very quiet. I liked it for the price an being that is was 3/4 horsepower. I never buy less than that I also skip the store warranty because it has a 10 year from the factory. Very satisfied with this purchase.

So far so good.
The only reason I'm giving this a 4 instead of a 5 is because I had to call customer service several times until I found an agent that spoke good enough English that I could understand to answer one question. The unit is lightweight compared to the one I replaced and very quiet as long as you have the sink guard in place. Just a note to all. The dishwasher knockout is recessed much further back than other units. The instructions say not to use a screwdriver but I could not remove it with a dowe...

Great Disposal - Pretty Quiet Too
I've had this disposal for about a year now and I have zero complaints. It does it's job every time, has never jammed, and it's considerably quieter than the one it replaced. All that for considerably less than the brand-name. No complaints here...
Strong disposal
Strong disposal with lots of power. Very satisfied. Everything but chicken bones are put through disposal and nothing slows it down. Awesome and never stinks.
