A 1.5 in vacuum hose does not fit securely. The hose constantly comes off. Due to the fit the vacuum head did a terrible job of cleaning.

It's best to store it out of the sun.

The last one lasted several years so I bought another one when it finally fell apart. I like the stepped hose connection, it makes it a lot easier to slide on my 2 1/2" vacuum hose.
