Destined not to pump

When my previous pump blew its shaft seal I bought this one because it had a stainless steel shaft vs the steel shaft. At home I tested is in my wash sink. It did not pump even using high speed on my drill. I disconnected it and looked down the discharge opening with a flashlight. To my surprise I had light coming out the suction end. Almost Useless

Not compatible with standard household hoses, so unless your only moving water 4 feet, this thing is basically useless. Don't waste your money.

it works well for the price

it works well not a lot of flow but it gets the job done

Moves water

This actually worked really well. Easy setup and use. It was just a but cumbersome at times. Overall though real good.

Does not for garden house

This does NOT for garden hoses like advertised. It will pump water if you plumb it though, so it gets two stars.

Drill 'Not' Pump

This pump did not work from the get go. I tried priming it, but it just would not pump.

Cheap: You get what you pay for.

Input tube was hidden inside output tube. The instructions did’t mention that. The input tube is not strong enough and collapses when trying to use making that tube useless. Garden hoses cannot connect because the connections on the pump were just a wee bit too small. Output tube was kinked and also collapsed making priming very difficult.

Very Handy

This pump works great to winterize toilets, the pool and lots of things. It needs a small garden hose extension for the suction end, and then a hose long enough to discharge where you want it to go. My last one was 10 years old and the drill drive shaft started to wobble and leak. Always run these with liquid in them to make sure they don't burn up.
