Works as expected
It’s not exactly compact, but it’s no bigger than it needs to be to do the job. Be sure to test the flow direction by using a pencil to see which direction things can and cannot pass through it to avoid putting it in backwards as there is not an arrow or other indicator on the product or label. No big deal. Easy to install and adjust to the exact spot you want it.

Good check valve for sump pump
This check valve fit well, the rubber is pliable and sealed on 2" pvc the first time it was tightened. The hose clamps are all stainless steel and won't corrode.

cheap insurance to prevent a back flow
purchased this check valve to be installed when i replace my sump pump, it is easy to install and prevents back flows that can be messy and expensive to clean up. it is cheap insurance and gives you peace of mind if you have a sump pump in your basement or finished area below grade.

Easy to install
Good quality and easy to install. The only issue I have is that Lowe’s didn’t keep them in stock so I had to order them. When it comes to replumbing a sump pump after a flood time matters.

CHECK VALVE
THIS IS A WAY BETTER CHECK VALVE THAN THE REGULAR CHECK VALVE YOU WOULD NORMALLY USE IN A SEPTIC TANK PUMP. USES A FLAP FOR REVERSE FLOW TO STOP OPPOSITE DIRECTION BACK FLOW. MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL IN THE UPWARD POSITION WHICH THE DIRECTION DOESN'T MENTION FOR BETTER PERFORMANCE.

When we purchased our current home the basement had been recently remodeled via contractors through another big box store. The quality of the work and materials, has been suspect. Easy to install, works great. Only complaint would be that it is a bit pricey compared to other types/makes of check valves.
