Does this still have aluminum in the construction?
I SEARCHED FOR A COFFEE POT WITHOUT PLASTIC, found this, and love the coffee I've been making. However, I did not know that aluminum is used in this pot. I will have to now replace IT. I am so very disappointed. I absolutely love the way my coffee tastes but avoid aluminum in my kitchen. UNLESS YOU TELL ME IT ISN'T IN THERE ANYMORE??

Poor design limits the usefulness
We purchased this 12 cup Presto electric percolator 2 weeks ago to replace our 12 cup Farberware electric percolator, which finally died after 6 years of almost daily use. The Presto pot works well if you want to make 2-6 cups of coffee, but anything more than that results in grounds flowing over the basket and into the pot of coffee. We initially tried making 12 cups, then 10, without a filter since the perforations at the bottom of the basket are tiny and we felt that would provide enough filt...

Be aware the the perk well is Aluminum
I bought this a few months ago. For elegance, function, and coffee flavor I would have given it a 10 review if it were possible until I discovered it had an aluminum perk well. This company is not transparent about this! Nowhere does it mention anything about the aluminum well. They make it sound like the entire thing is stainless steel. Pleasantly surprised
