The bulbs weren't installed in the box and I liked it. I could configure my string before putting lights on. I didn't have to use all the bulbs for them to work.

We bought these on clearance, thank goodness. One strand has to be returned since more than half the lights don’t work. The other strands are mostly working, but not completely. I don’t trust them to last long at all.
