Had it two years. All the burners burned out and cracked. The ignition didn't work after a year. The smoker temperature never stabilized. I gave it away to someone who was going to make a wood smoker out of it and bought something completely different.

Bought Pit Boss Pro Series 4, for the 4th of July 2022. Bought pre-assembled from local Lowes. Thought it was a great purchase until I had a major issue with this item. Door latch broke after 2 hours of use. Latch is so cheaply made it broke after opening and closing door only about 10 times. For a $500.00 smoker to break after first use is very disappointing. Smoker Broke
Got about a year out of the smoker before it broke. have replaced motor and now going to have to replace the thermostat. Was good before it broke but dont buy if you are looking for long term. My Weber Genesis lasted 10 years and was still a champ when I gave it away.

Love the pit! It is a tad small if you are wanting to do multiple things in the smoker. But I can do 2 racks of ribs at one time or a 18 lb brisket. The ribs fit horizontally or a brisket diagonally. Not at the same time. But there are only 2 of us so it it perfect. I like that I can either grill or smoke with the same unit.

Biggest piece of junk , not worth the $ that it cost..the control panel was bad right from the start of buying the grill plus we have to install the panel ourselves!!!!Service told us to look up on you tube on how to install the part.!!!!Really, 800.00 for a grill and a part was bad and we have to fix it ourselves!!!!
