Great replacement for existing lights. Good light for kitchen with a natural level of warm white to avoid harshness of other products. Works with dimmer.

Decent Light But Not Apple Compatible

The lights have a nice warm color but it is not compatible with Apple products. I attempted numerous times to use the app, use the codes provided on the instructions and went through the website but could not get it to pair with apple phone, iPad or computer. I could buy a Google product but that would quadruple the cost of the light. It is a decent light but it would be better if I could control it through my Apple phone instead of having to buy a Google phone.

Superior Dimmable Light with Accessory Options

The Philips Hue Matter soft white bulb gives off a nice and pleasing light array and is superior to normal and other light bulbs in the quality of its light projection. It is sleek, sturdy, and well-constructed. It is dimmable and can be controlled by voice (Echo, Alexa, etc.) and by the Philips app on your phone (which I have). There are also a few Philips light accessories that can be purchased to control and use this bulb and other Philips Hue style bulbs (of which I have a few colored bulbs)...

Versatile is thumbs up

These lights are a game changer. Many options for different types of lights from inside to outside, use mine for outside. Paired with the WiFi unit and the app the settings are easy to set up, use the timers for on/off and the range of colors and brightness are infinite. Mine are set up on the front porch and walkway, low intensity and run from dusk to midnight. Love the product line and will purchase more for my back patio.

Great choice

Great choice in lighting. Perfect brightness with 75 watt (1100 lumens). It was suprisingle very east to connect to Alexa using the hue QR code that was provided.

New light with greatly improve features

This bulb outshines the other bulbs that we had in its same service. We compare a 75 watt incandescent bulb, and a 23 watt fluorescent bulb against 10.5 watt led bulb. The led bulb comes on instantly unlike the fluorescent. It's cool to the touch, unlike the incandescent bulb. Because it is cool you can use it in closed applications. The light from the bulb is easy on the eye and is changeable via a dimmer. Better light cheaper with a significant longer life.

Dimming White Lights

I already had other Hue lights, so I already had the app loaded and these were easy to connect to and start using. The only issue I have, and was my fault, was that I didn't fully read the description and notice these are white only; I assumed they were like other Hue products I have and can be set to any color shade. These are white only and can be dimmed by the app or asking Alexa or similar to do it.

Provides convenience you never knew you needed

I installed the Philips hue smart bulbs in a bedroom lamp and also in a living room lamp. Using the hue app, I was able to set routines to turn them on and off at certain times without having to use a plug in timer. The bulbs provide a bright clear light and can be dimmed easily using the app. They can also be turned on and off using the app, which is my favorite feature of these bulbs!
