Great Door Sensor for Hue System

Would Recommend

I used this door sensor on the sliding glass door that leads to our back deck. We wanted to have a good way of monitoring the status of this door when we are away from home and this was easily added to our existing hue system. Installing the physical device did take a couple of tries in order to make sure everything lined up correctly and that the door was able to move freely. Smart little Sensor

Hooking up to the bridge was a breeze! I hooked up the bridge first, which was pretty easy to do. Scanned the QR code on the instructions, and brought me right to the setup. Plugged the bridge to the outlet and then plugged into the router and waited for the lights to turn on. The only thing I was confused about was that it stated that three lights were supposed to light up, however only two did. It still was connected, however. The sensor was hooked up to my back door. Peace at home

Would Recommend

This window and door sensor is easy to setup and adds a great feel of security. It connects to your home internet via a hub and when installed it will allow your window or door to always alert you if it’s been opened and you don’t hear it.

Hue door and window senser

Would Recommend

I have put this on my front door as it has an old lock on it. I put the window on the one side of a double window. I did test them with my daughter and worked great.
