Great for big cats

I’ve had this for years now and haven’t switched to anything else since! It’s really great for my tubby cat, as she can get in, move around, do her business and get out with ease. It was also spacious enough for when I had two cats using this. It’s great to not have to constantly try out litter boxes anymore to please my picky cat.

very nice litter box

i really like this covered litter box. it masks smell pretty well which is something really important to me. it’s very easy to clean and assemble. the size is also pretty good for my cat. i had to get this kind of litter box to hopefully keep my small dogs out, which it doesn’t but that’s just my dogs being gross lol

Great item with challenges

Difficult to get the top and bottom snapped together.

Cats like the Booda Titanium litter box BUT . . .

Two cats, two Booda Titanium Cleanstep. Cats are happy and overall I’m happy they use them. However, as they are round it’s impossible to find round nosed litter scoops for them. Might want to think about whether the scoop fits the box. The only one available is only 4” across versus all the flat nosed ones are six inches or more. Please provide a link for a scoop that fits your round litter boxes.

buy this box only if you want you room to smell

This is a long term review. My cats have used this box for about 3 years. It was designed by a person that did not understand fluid dynamics. The way the lid mates to the base causes the urine that hits the seam to migrate all the way around the seem causing odor issues. In fact, I am dumping this litter box in the trash where it belongs. I have designed and built a box that corrects this issue. Save your money and buy a litter box some place else. No Petmate, I do not want your suggestio...

Poor quality

I hate one of these that I purchased about 12 years ago. It was fantastic. Well my cat passed so I had gotten rid of the box. I recently got 2 kittens and am looking for another one. I bought this box, but the edges are so sharp and unfinished. The dye cut they used is horrible, you can see all of the spot welds which are also sharp. It's ridiculous. Horrible. Not worth it. Keep your money.

Flimsy plastic and poor lid fit

I used to love this product but it's gone down in quality. I bought this for my mom's cat 7 years ago. It was excellent. I recently bought this for a cat I adopted. The plastic is very thin and the lid and base do not align properly. In addition, the liners designed for this litter box don't fit well. The ones that come with the litter box are too small and need to be cut on the seam to fit. The larger ones sold on this site will fit but they can't be securely tied or wrapped around the base.

Best box ever

I have tried a lot of different boxes. I have a dog that just loves Cat waste. This box prevents her from finding snacks. You need to make sure you put the lid on correctly to avoid leaks. Have a few more cats so I need to purchase another. Price is a bit high now but you still get 5 stars.
