A perfect patio is all about the groundwork, and this product delivered. Excellent Compaction & Stability. The crushed stone packs down incredibly tight with a hand tamper or plate compactor. It creates a perfectly flat, unyielding surface that ensures the pavers won't shift, sink, or become uneven over time.

Awesome and Sturdy Pebbles

I purchased these pebbles to complete the foundation of my new backyard shed. The texture is very sturdy and strong and will get the job done once the rain arrives.

Make sure you have a stamper.

It was great for my pavers.the dirt in my backyard is super hard this product made it much easier.

The girl at the pick up was very rude. I had called and she hung up on me. I kept calling back and she kept picking the phone up and hanging up on me. I had to go into the store to complain to store mgr Manny. This girl you have working there should not be working for Lowe’s she was a very rude girl. She did not apologize.

This is perfect to use under a retaining project.

I get a 10% discount at Lowes so I sometimes just take what they have and hope for the best. I did a large job with this base. Results were frustrating. I had a 30' retaining wall which I used this base for. Every bag of this stuff was unique. Some were decent quality with mixed sizes and no large river rocks, some were all grit size and wet, some were like a "bag of rocks with some brown dust thrown in"... you get the picture. Paver base a must . . .

I purchased paver base to create a walkway from my back yard, and I wanted the pavers to be level and not move around when walking on one completed. This Paver Base allows that to happen. It may take a little more work to lay it down and level pavers, but it will be worth in long run.

Heavy lifting but easy to level.

Easiest way to level anything outside, especially when you have very uneven hard dirt base.
