What Customers Are Saying
The product is generally well-received, with many praising its attractive appearance and ease of use. However, there are some concerns about its sturdiness and ability to reliably hold longer or heavier hoses. The stand works well for shorter hoses but may struggle with longer ones, potentially causing it to bend or become unstable. Some customers also mention the material feels a bit flimsy, though it has held up reasonably well in various weather conditions. Overall, the product seems to be a decent option for basic hose storage, especially for shorter hoses.

If I would have had more choices for a hose holder that sticks in the ground, I probably would have chosen something different. This is OK and, it does hold the hose but, it’s a little shorter than I would have preferred and, it wobbles a little under the weight of the hose. I’m going to use it on the front side of the house until I can find a better one. Then, I’ll move it to the backyard.

Pretty but flimsy
The description says it will hold a 150 foot hose. Probably this is true, and it did work for my hose, but overall it is a flimsy product. I will wait to see how is does when we get rain. The prongs to stick in the dirt are flimsy to hold a heavy hose. But it is pretty. It looks nice.

Flimsy
I bought this because it looked nice and I thought it would be an attractive way to store the hose in our front hedges. Even with a 50' hose it wants to fall over and overall it's very flimsy and bends alot when you're rolling the hose up on it. I haven't put the hose back on it since the first day.
Metal Hose Reel
It is nice looking and I hope study enough to hold the hose I have and extra. I have 120' and seems to be holding it well as I need to add another 50'. It is pricy but better than the ones you have to reel in by a handle. I anted something that was metal and not plastic which can break then to whole thing has to be discarded.

Star of the Yard
I owned 4 of these when I lived in Texas and left them with the house... my bad! I missed them so much I ordered more for my new home in Michigan. These are strong and durable, easy to relocate and anchor and reliable. I give them a 5-star rating.

Great idea but poor design.
It's a great idea for a hose reel but the design is flawed. It works great as long as the ground is dry. Every time it rains, it falls over under the weight of the hose and wet ground. Maybe if it had four or more rods to push into the ground, it would provide more support in wet conditions.

Stable
This was my first time using the “Patio Life Steel Stand Hose Reel” and I love it. It is very substantially build, and it holds my 100-ft water hose with no problem. Plus, it looks good and easy to install. I will definitely recommend this reel to anyone.

Flimsy
Very flimsy. There is such length to this that with the hose curled on it it bends forward. I couldn’t get this to lean backwards it just kept going forward and bending the metal.

works fine and looks nice with the star. I leaned it backward a little when putting in the ground. that way it stands straight when the weight of the hose is on it.

Very Useful in a small area
I bought these hose reels because I needed something in a small space. Only negative, don't use this for a 100 ft hose, it is just too heavy for the real. But all in all I like them. I didn't have space for a box to sit.
