I give the cap and the function 5 stars,but the reason for the three,is my cap came with no battery door,of course no biggie I had a old one that I makeshifed together with some electrical tape,but still it shouldn’t have been missing

Indispensable For Every Home Owner

I've owned one of these caps for years. My wife bought several as Christmas presents for co-workers a while back and got me one of them. This year I gave several of them out as Christmas presents. They are great and everyone loves them. I use mine almost every day when I take the dog for a walk when it's dark and in low light situations. The batteries last a long time.

The hat has a bulky, lopsided look and feel where the battery sits over the ear. Though the light works well.

Hands Free Lighting

This is my second “head lamp” purchase. I gave the first one I owned to my brother. I used to be a school bus driver and had to do a detailed pre-trip walk around of the bus before daylight. I had to check under the hood, steering arms, etc. This hat allowed me to visually and physically inspect everything without holding a flashlight. I highly recommend this product if you need to do anything before daylight.

I like the hat. It may fall off in some situations A neck strap would help/

I’m buying this for my legally blind brother that lives in Covington Ky. He has to be close to objects to see them . I will be seeing him in April 2021 to get his opinion . Thanks
