This doesn't fit my 2 x 3 downspout or my 3in PVC pipe. What a waste of money and time. I didn't spend a lot of time looking at reviews because I was assuming this was just a standard piece.

Well made, heavy duty construction
This adaptor is really well made and sturdy. The plastic is thick, and it feels like it will last for a long time.
Long term fix.
The existing aluminum downspout extension was leaking. I used the adapter to splice in a 3" section of PVC pipe that remedied the leak.
