Easy to use with good directions but only had 2 pads, not 4, and BOY are they teeny!

Useless Product!

Don't waste your money. The tabs are smaller than the pad of my finger that I need to rub on the surface I am testing. The tabs disintegrated even when rubbing gently. Totally useless. Don't bother. I would give it zerio stars, but you have to enter something for the review to be submitted.

Ordered from Lowe's online. First package received contained nothing but the outer package and an empty zip lock bag. Called Lowe's customer service and they gave me their vendors number and said take it up with them. (Way to go, Lowe's').Called Pro-Lab, the manufacturer, and they sent out another kit. Two tiny, (fingernail size) paper pads and an eyedropper. Pads are really not large enough for any serious testing, and disintegrated almost immediately. Waste of money and time.

Empty Package

I did not have a chance to try it as the kit was empty when I received it. Obviously someone purchased it, used it, then returned the package for a refund. This is the second item I have gotten from Lowes this month that was incomplete. It's very frustrating waiting for an order and not receiving the goods. Puts me way behind on my projects.

if you are testing for lead then you may be thinking of a remodeling project in which you are going to remove items that are suspected of being painted with lead paint. To test that surface properly you cannot just set a moistened pad on the surface of the existing paint. You must scrape down to where all the layers of the painted are exposed as the lead paint may have been encapsulated by multiple layers of additional paint added thru the years.
