Carbon monoxide alarm tester

Wanted carbon monoxide alarm test aerosol can. Got a small button like indicator to test for carbon monoxide which was not an alarm tester and returned for credit. Did not see any CO alarm test cans near the smoke alarm testers where I might expect to find it. Suggest the store carry CO alarm test aerosol near the smoke alarm test aerosols. This was at the Burbank Lowe’s.

It's okay... takes a while to detect anything if it does pick up anything.. Makes me wonder if it's actually working.

Good to have (pure science)

Ok I'm writing this because other reviews were negative. I wish my local store stocked It, I plan to get one. My electronic device failed. My furnace quit it was zero degrees out,I had on a propane stove,kerosene heater and propane heater.There were fumes in here it didn't go off. It did go off the day it warmed up and nothing was on. This type of test could verify the validity of an electronic unit. Could check car also.

Simplistic

I thought this product contained a beeping notification but it’s a tiny little piece that is meant to detect. Not sure up to how many feet its detection extends and if carbon monoxide were present while you’re sleeping, you’re dead. Again, no sound notification just something you must squeeze your eye to determine its detection based on color change. Worth no more than 3 bucks.
