Just wow!
Seems like all I can say is just, wow! Went from looking for a new CORDED drill and ended up with the perfect drill powerful enough to become a home made drill press. This drill has the power to borrow through even the hardest wood (at least what I have tried ( Black Walnut)). If you were to go out and purchase this today, all other corded drills would be left sitting on the shelf.

Fullfills the need in excelent form
Never owned this maker before but I am pleased with how it worked, its weight and power. I do not need a drill very often so that is why I choose a corded drill . Much light that my old 25 year of black and decker. Hope it last the same amount of years. Only thing I need to criticize is the location of the switch to change to reverse. It is directly above and attached to the red power trigger. I have accidently hit it and gone into reverse more than once. Move it to the back of the casing.

Their cordless drill is better. For a corded drill stick with DeWalt, Bosch, Hitachi, etc.

Bought it for a back up if my cordless needed a charge. About a year old, it died today after light to medium use. Motor runs, but it stripped the gears drilling a 3/4 hole throughout a double still to run wiring. Disappointed, as these basic drill usually last for decades. Also, my Porter Cable cordless impact drill died shortly after finishing the hole that the corded drill broke on. However, that drill has had a hard life during a year long remodel job.
Does the job
It was a great price and it is a lot more powerful than my 20 year old black and decker drill
