Cools off Backyard, Good Value

Purchased this unit along with 2 extensions kits and a filter. Good price, $25 + $19 for each extension kit,+ $9 for a filter. So for $100, got a new Misting system. Replaced my 1/4” mister

I needed to expand my Orbit 1/4” mister but no one in town had an extension kit for it so I had to buy a 3/8 mister plus a 3/8” extension. This new setup actually puts out a heavier mist, which I think even cools the patio more. You know how no matter how hot it is outside a wet bathing suit is always cold? Easy to install residential system

The key is that this is a residential system, so my expectations are set far lower. I do expect it to last a couple of Summers, but anything over that would be a big plus. The install is simple, and I just hooked it up to a hose cart, turned on the faucet and it worked. I'm in California and we've got very hard water, and I don't think my garden faucet comes from the softener so it will calcify pretty fast.

Easy to install and works as intended

Excellent price for a pre assembled system. The flexible hose allows to work around posts and took maybe 30 minutes to install including the 10' extension kit we also bought. Do follow the instructions and run the system for 10 minutes or so to flush out potential dirt in the system.

New system mister 1 and 6 work others drip

With a screen-washer on the hose only mister 1 and 6 work the others drip. Without screen washer misters 1,2,3 and 6 work others drip. I exchanged all the misters same results. It most likely has something to do with the water pressure. I can place a bird bath and an unwanted guest under the 'drippers'.

‘Round the trampoline

We bought starter kit and 2 extensions which works great! Our kids like they can use trampoline with the mist to stay cool and we like the yard doesn’t get flooded. We used bread ties to attach to top of the safety net.

Does it’s job.

Bought to use on our deck around the pool. Covers a corner and keeps it cooler with the umbrella up. If sun is high and direct it does evaporate quick but it’s a mister not a smoker. Was quick to install and turn on which is great.

Met an immediate need

My AC was going out but the compressor would work only until it would over heat. The extended mister kept the coils cool enough over a long weekend until the AC repairs could be done.. the only down side was the mist seemed too fine for my purpose, but it did work.

Customer service nonexistent!

Good product, but we needed a replacement auto drain valve after sitting up for the winter, and there is absolutely no way to get in touch with Orbit customer service. First waited 30 minutes on phone with no response, then waited 55 minutes on phone with no response, then tried online chat... guess what... no response!

Perfect for my “cooling tent”.

It’s 96 degrees outside at our pool party. We connected 2 of these and strung them onto the supports of our 8X10 pop up and put a couple chairs under it. It was the hit of the party. Ended up needing more chairs.
