Not planning to share my four surface thermometers— so I picked up four more for gift giving.

Absolute necessity

Takes the guesswork out of surface temps. After some time with these you start to get a feel for what the thermometer on the lid reads compared to what the thermometers read on the grill surface, there's a pretty significant difference. It works as advertised.

These work amazing. Tossed them in the smoker and they were spot on. Even in some thick smoke I could read them without issue. The only reason for 4 stars was due to shipping. Fedex is slow as dirt. The received the item on April 12. It remained "in transit" until April 22, when it was finally delivered. Snail mail would have been faster.
