Bad Product do not buy
Our's went out after 4 months because the compressor went bad. Newair shipped us a new one and it stopped working after 4 months because the water pump stopped working. Newark was going to ship me a replacement pump and instructions but couldn't find the instructions so they decides to replace the whole unit again. I decided to return both to Lowes since I had 365 to return. by using the myLowes card. Easy return and got my money back. Now om to find a better brand/machine.

This ice maker does in fact make plenty of ice, HOWEVER, it is the loudest machine I have ever heard!! I do not recommend this product unless you have it outside in the garage!!

Unfortunately the product was defective. The drain water leaked onto the floor. It initially produced nice ice relatively rapidly and then the unit quit working and the ice melted and water drained onto the floor. The company is providing a replacement which will have to be installed and then I am to dispose of the defective unit!

A Dad's Life Saver For Kids on Summer Break
My kids go through SO MUCH ICE. Throughout the winter, our fridge's ice maker is able to keep up. Barely. By the end of the day it's empty, and we're just hoping it produces more ice overnight. It's an incredible machine
This thing is a workhorse. I have been using it as a standalone ice machine in my backyard and we have never gotten close to running out of ice. The ice quality is much clearer than I expected. The build quality is brilliant. The only thing on my wishlist would have been more water inlet nozzle options as I had to rig my water source to fit the supplied hoses.

Let me first state that this is unquestionably among the greatest commercial ice makers I've seen in a very long time.
