Lowe's sent me a clearly used item. The packaging was torn and taped back together, while the item itself had bird seed and other bird... stuff... on it. The scoop claims it fits a 40 pound bag, so I tested it with a 40 pound bag that I had opened last week (so there was maybe 33-34 pounds of seed in it). Well, it _kind of_ "fits" - it's not quite big enough, requiring you to fold the bag "just right" to make it fit. Then, I tried to lift the bag by the handle, it completely fell off. I didn't ...

This is a great idea to keep the bird seed nice and tidy...and easy to pour without making a mess! I wish they made these for cereal!! Sorry the review took so long, I was waiting for the rains to stop before I hung my feeders!
Good only for tiny foods
Got this to use on a dog food bag. Food would not flow thru the nozzle easily. We have a 18 lb dog eating very small food and it could not be used. It did work on our bird food bag but we don't use large bags, we buy 4lb bags and this is just to bulky for that.
