National Plant Network is pleased to offer the public a rare opportunity to obtain grower quality starter plugs in a bulk format typically reserved for industry professionals. Each tray contains 32 individually rooted 3 inch plugs, providing a cost effective way to tackle large landscaping projects and mass plantings. Appalachian Sedge is a tough, native perennial sedge known for its uncommonly fine, thread-like deep green foliage that forms soft, weeping mounds that undulate gracefully in the breeze. It is highly versatile and performs best when used for shade groundcovers, woodland gardens, lawn alternatives, or stabilizing dry, shaded slopes. Young plants arrive healthy and ready to plant, flourishing quickly with regular watering and proper light and are an excellent low maintenance solution for anyone looking to achieve professional landscaping results at a fraction of the cost.
