Weather Resistant?

I put these on my handcrafted backyard shed when I had to replace the door. The old hinges had rusted to the point of no movement,so it was time.My home is colonial by style so these hinges were a perfect choice.These are a fairly heavy hinge and seem to have a heavy enough finish on them to tolerate the weather,at least that is my hope.Only time will tell but for now they look fabulous.

Gate Hinge

Hinge seems to be well constructed and operates smoothly. It also looks nice. I needed a large heavy-duty hinge and this with a capacity of 100 pounds seems to meet the requirements. However, I can't believe it came with only short 5/32" screws. The hinge I replaced was smaller but had 3/8" lag screws. If I had time I would have bought longer screws. I will replace with longer screws soon. That is the reason I only gave 4 stars..

What were you guys thinking?

When I bought these hinges they looked so great that I didn't think to look at the screws that came with it. I am very curious to know what would make you guys put such small and short screws in the package with these very sturdy looking hinges. These small screws are almost a deal changer for me.

Screws aren't up to par!

The only problem is the screws aren't as heavy duty as the hinge! I have to buy better screws and throw yours away. Yours are way inferior to the hinge itself!
