Design of part that mounts to gate is simple and perfect so far, but the gate door mounted part is terrible. The part will bend and break unless you fasten a cross brase against the frame. I fixed it the third day I had it. Weakness is a design flaw not an installation problem because I had to add a counter measure to perform a permanent corrective action. Buy this plus a cheap 1/2 inch galvanized pipe hanger for an inexpensive fix.
