What Customers Are Saying
The product is generally considered a reliable and effective gate latch, with many users praising its simple yet secure design and ease of installation. The latch is described as sturdy and durable, expected to last for years. However, some customers reported occasional issues with the latch sticking or not latching properly, especially if the gate is closed forcefully. A few reviewers also noted design flaws, such as a protruding steel piece that can cause the latch to bounce open. Overall, the majority of customers seem satisfied with the product's performance and value.

These work great and look good on exterior gates. Lockable too.

Good for what it is
Nice to have four screw holes for each piece of gate hardware rather than two (like some gate latches). Installation is a breeze and it's nice that it compensates for gate sag. The actual latch pieces feel lighter than expected, but I don't expect them to fail in their housings.
