MyMoldDetective 1 Room Mold and Allergen Test Kit Mold test kit

Not testing for Stachybotrys?

I like how easy it is to use. My results were normal/ about the same or sometimes less than outdoor air, which is really cool to be able to compare. I also didn’t get a very good surface sample, but that’s on me. I’m mostly wondering why the test didn’t seem to cover stachybotrys at all, that would have been the most important one to know.

Bait & Switch

The description of this product indicates the lab analysis of the results is included in the price. Upon opening the package and reading the instructions you find the lab analysis is billable. The kit is useless without the lab analysis.

Did not work

Pump did not run right out of the box & was past the return date. There goes $60 for nothing.

Find the mold

Excellent product to find out if there is indoor or outdoor mold in the air. Lab fee’s are reasonable and quick turnaround for report.

It Found our Hidden Mold

Our pets kept in the family room kept getting sick with no explanation. Our vet was stumped. After discarding every other possible explanation, I suspected mold, even though I couldn't see or smell it. I did this test, got the results back in a matter of days, and found out that there was one mold group that was exceptionally high. We hired a contractor, and they found mold in the ceiling, behind paneling, and under the flooring from a leak that the previous owners never properly remediated....

Trustworthy!

We were concerned about mold in an area where you couldn't see, even with a scope. Too far under and dark. This test was not only easy to use but it's very accurate. Not only are you told if mold is present, but which kind, and on a scale of what's normal and the level of which mold you have as well as the severity. It was worth every penny and I would use it again!!!

Five days and still waiting

The results were supposed to be returned in 1-3 biz days. It been 3 biz days and 5 calendar days and no results. And I still can't figure why I needed to test the great outdoors when I'm only concerned about where I live...indoors.

Affordable and Effective

After looking at all the options on the market for mold testing I decided to purchase My Mold Detective from my local Lowes as it was the most convenient and affordable way for me to test my basement and I received my results quickly. I would recommend this product to anyone that might have mold concerns.

I SAVED HUNDREDS USING MY MOLD DETECTIVE

I was miserable trying to make my way through the confusing process of determining my Indoor Air Quality after a water main break at my house. The other solutions were either too expensive or notoriously untrustworthy. My Mold Detective fills the void in the market and the customer support was superb. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Marty P.
