Favorite Climbing Rose!
I bought one of these for my last home and it was an amazingly hardy rose that required very little care. It was in a relatively dry bed, full sun on a trellis. Once established, it bloomed prolifically with huge clusters in the spring, generating blooms thru late summer. Long shoots need trimming to keep its shape and water at the base during dry spells. Highly recommend! Hope to buy a few more for my new home.

Old Friend
I purchase my yellow Lady Banks from Lowe’s 23 years ago this spring! It is now 30 to 40 feet tall and popping through a huge magnolia tree. Our family, including my daughters-now 20 and 21 -who grew up with this rose, eagerly await its yearly magnificent spectacle of blooms. Every year is more breathtaking than the last. The blooms shoot from the tree tops and cascade down, seemingly from everywhere. It is truly breathtaking.
The plant that ate my house!
I planted one 10 years ago and it literally covered my entire front porch and on the roof within 2 years. It was beautiful, but snagged anyone coming up the front steps. I have cut it back to the ground, poisoned it with Roundup, cursed it, and it still comes back every year. It is beautiful and has a lovely smell. But be sure and plant it where you don't mind it getting 25 feet high and wide. Also....even though they say this has no thorns...it will develop huge thorns after a few years! I live...
Beautiful flower
We bought the Lady Banks Rose to put into a new flower bed we are building. It will be one the focal points for the bed, along with a Goldflame Honeysuckle. Really, really pretty.
