I used on floor in bedroom 5 months ago and the odor is still there. The room has three windows which were left open for a month straight with fans. I tried putting an air purifier and large carbon filter which helps but as soon as you turn them off you can smell the horrible odor. I have decided to sand the floor again and put water based poly instead. This will cost me extra time, labor, and money I didn't want to spend but at least I will have my bedroom back.

Uneven finish..+micro bubbles..after slowly stirring,,,applying extremely methodically and slowly with brush!!...sanding 1000# grit in-between coats. Been using Minwax urethane for 30 years Unless you're doing an outdoor project and don't care about the feeling of the finish, This is NOT for furniture that requires a clean smooth finish!!!

Cheaper doesn’t mean lease quality with Minwax
It worked better this oil based version on my project than the water based version with a paint brush. Using sprayer may be a different story; however, for this wood project, the oil based was perfect and left no bubbles or streaks.
